FINALLY, A LITTLE BIT OF INVENTORY

We have 19 more homes active than we did last month. However, 83 listings in Washington Park is still the lowest inventory for June since I have been keeping records. With 47 sales, it is still less than 2 months of inventory which is a strong seller’s market. That is probably why that of the 47 sales, 26 were full price or above asking.

It remains a great time to sell. Buyers are a little happier because they are finally seeing some inventory and finding hope that they might be able to obtain a house before the competition does. High end sellers are also seeing improvement. This month we saw 5 sales in the million plus range. With only 8 in inventory in that range, the high end market is just as strong as the lower range. That is amazing!
